The Pipeline Runner tool itself and any associated tools and supporting applications are licensed, not sold. In addition to purchasing single or multiple licenses you may be able to purchase License Extensions which confer additional usage rights over and above those provided under the terms of the license itself. By obtaining a license extension you obtain the right to use the software as set out in that license extension for the term of the license.
Important: The number and type of license extensions that are available may be changed at any time. However, once you have purchased a license extension you will be entitled to all usage rights conferred by that license extension for the entire term of the license.
At the time of writing there are two license extensions available:
•Floating License - Allows the software to be moved between computers as needed rather than licensed for use on a specific computer - perfect for use by IT support companies, for example.
•Site License - Allows the software to be installed on a specified number of computers on a single site, rather than having to purchase a separate license tied to each one - perfect for larger businesses
These license extensions will generally provide significant operational and / or financial advantages when compared against purchasing multiple licenses.
