To remove Pipeline Runner from your computer completely, follow the same method you would for any other Windows program:
You should have an uninstall option in your start menu, in the Pipeline Runner sub menu. If so, you can simply select this option. If for any reason you do not have such an option, you will need to use the standard uninstall method for your version of the Windows Operating system:
Windows 8 / Windows 8.1
| 1. | Click Start Button | Control Panel. |
| 2. | When the control panel is displayed, double click on Programs and Features in Classic view or in default view click the Uninstall a Program link A new dialog will be displayed which shows the programs you can automatically remove from your system. |
| 3. | Select the program you wish to remove, and the Uninstall button will become available (the text will turn black). |
| 4. | Click on the button to remove the selected program. |
| 5. | Follow the on screen instructions. |
Windows 10 / Windows 11
| 1. | Right click on the Start Button and select Apps and Features from the menu that pops up. |
| 2. | A new dialog will be displayed which shows the programs you can automatically remove from your system. |
| 3. | Select the program you wish to remove, and the Uninstall button will become available (the text will turn black). |
| 4. | Click on the button to remove the selected program. |
| 5. | Follow the on screen instructions.If you are running a Network version of the software you will need to repeat this procedure for each machine. |
Important: Only files created by the installer will be removed. Any files or folders that you created yourself using the program, for example scripts and project files, will not be deleted automatically so to finalise the uninstall you may need to delete these items using Windows File Explorer or a similar tool. You should confirm the locations of the data before performing the uninstall.
