Pipeline Runner may from time to time be made available under a 'Freemium' licensing scheme. This allows use of the basic software without charge for non commercial purposes, but requires a commercial license to be purchased in the event that the software is used for commercial purposes. Purchasing such a license will not only allow commercial use but depending upon the license purchased may add standard or extended technical support and activate additional functionality over and above that provided under an free license.

Non-Commercial Use

In simple terms, this means that you may use the software without charge providing the software is being used for a non-commercial purpose as defined in the End User License Agreement. Such usage is permitted but no direct support is provided other than Bug Reporting which is always available for free by completing the Bug Report Form, and if a reproducible case is provided all support relating to that bug will be free of charge as will any resulting upgrade.

Read more about this type of license in the Free for Non-Commercial Use topic.

lamp Important: Commercial use without a license is theft, and could result in court action for damages.

Commercial Use

Commercial use as defined in the End User License Agreement requires the purchase of a suitable license. As part of that purchase the contract will allow standard technical support via the website for the duration of the license period and any further further period of licensed usage. By purchasing an appropriate license you may be able to extend the level of technical support and activate additional functionality.

At the time of writing there are two such licenses, but license types may be added or withdrawn at any time.
