Conventions

A number of conventions are used throughout this resource for describing user-interface procedures:

Key Combinations

Key combinations will be presented like this:

Ctrl+Alt+Delete

which means that you should press and hold down the Control key and the Alt key, and then press the Delete key once before releasing all three keys. There are many other possible key combinations which will be displayed and operate in the same manner.

Menu Selection

Menu selections will be presented like this:

File|Open

which means that you should click the File menu to open it, and then click on the Open item in the expanded menu presented.
