All the standard Windows keyboard HotKeys are enabled within Pipeline Runner Studio.  This means that you can use the same keys you are used to using in other programs to control Pipeline Runner Studio without the need to use the mouse.

 

Key combinations are shown below like this:

 

Ctrl+Alt+Delete

 

which means that you should press and hold down the Ctrl key and the Alt key, and then press the Delete key once before releasing all three keys. There are many other possible key combinations which will be displayed and operate in the same manner.

 

Multi-Key gestures (also known as keyboard chords) are supported up to three levels deep. Multi-key gestures are shown like this:

 

Ctrl+Shift+E,L

 

which means that you should press and hold down the Ctrl key and the Shift key, and then press the E key once, then press the L key once,  before releasing all the keys. There are many other possible Multi-Gesture combinations which will be displayed and operate in the same manner.

 

The following standard Windows key combinations are common ones that you may wish to use:

 

F1

Displays the online documentation for the application, context sensitively if possible. This requires an active internet connection.

Ctrl+A

Selects all the text in the script from the current Project .Has no effect if the script contains no text.

Ctrl+C

Copy the currently selected text in the script from the current Project to the Clipboard.  Has no effect if no text is selected.

Ctrl+V

Paste the current contents of the Clipboard into the script from the current Project at the current cursor position.  Has no effect if the Clipboard is empty or the contents are incompatible with the currently active component.

Ctrl+X

Cut the currently selected text in the script from the current Project to the clipboard, removing it from the script.  Has no effect if no text is selected

Ctrl+TAB

Switches between the currently open projects within Synergy.  Has no effect if no projects are open or if only a single project is open. For this to function one tab must be highlighted.

Alt+F4

Closes the program

 

In addition there are a number of Pipeline Runner specific key combinations :

 

Main Form

 

Ctrl+F

Displays the Find dialog

Ctrl+N

Creates a new Project and loads it in a new tab

Ctrl+O

Displays the Open Project dialog

Ctrl+S

Saves any changes to the current project. Has no effect if the project is unchanged.

Ctrl+Shift+A

Displays the About Dialog

 

Editor Controls

 

Ctrl+'+'

Increase the Zoom percentage

Ctrl+'-'

Decrease the Zoom percentage

Ctrl+0

Resets the Zoom to 100%
